NHL Legend and Tampa Bay Lightning Founder Phil Esposito and Boston-based Edge Sports Group have plans for the 250-acre Olympus sports destination in Clermont.
Esposito is a founding member of the Ice Center at Olympus, a $20 million facility with two NHL-regulation ice rinks for ice hockey and figure skating training and competition.
“The Ice Center at Olympus is the perfect platform for teams like the Lightning,” as well as for high school, collegiate and professional team training and international competition, said Esposito in a prepared statement.
